The collection covers several areas, including farming, gardening, estate
crafts, social and domestic. It helps to tell the story of Home Farm when
it was the centre of operations for Temple Newsam Estate.
Although few of the items are original to the estate, the collection does reflect the things that would
have been used here from the late 1800s onwards.
