Sportivate Round 10 is now open

The deadline for bid submission is Friday 10 July 2015. Round 10 projects are to be delivered between October 2015 & March 2016

For more information about Sportivate, please find the necessary documents and contact details below.

What is Sportivate?

We are looking to support and develop projects that will engage with and stimulate 11-25 year olds who don’t currently participate in sport or exercise. Inactive, those young people who, when registering for Sportivate, state that they aren’t yet doing once a week participation. We are expecting to fund a wide range of activities across the city, targeting all sections of the community.

The funding available can help pay for coaches, equipment, venue costs marketing or coach education.

Sportivate is 6-8 sessions after which there must be an opportunity for participants to continue with the activity.

Round 10 Priorities:

Sportivate is particularly prioritising projects that engage women and girls or 19-25 year olds. Projects with strong exit routes will also be prioritised. This does not exclude projects from other target groups, but applicants should be aware that Sportivate is a competitive programme and last year, we were heavily over-subscribed.
