Touch Rugby

people playing touch rugbyTouch Rugby Leeds is Leeds City Council's provider of Touch Rugby for Leeds and supports other Touch programmes, managed by the Sport and Active Lifestyles Service.

Played to international rules in social and competition leagues for age groups 14+, female, male and mixed teams.

All ages and abilities welcome and our activities are accessible to disabled groups and individuals. Qualified Touch Rugby match officials. All leagues have “Turn up & Play” teams for any person who isn’t linked to an established team, maybe passing through the city or wants to try the game.

During the winter 12 teams play at the Indoor Bowls & Athletics centre and during the summer 24 teams play on the main pitch.


Monday night throughout the year from 6.00pm to 10.00pm currently at John Charles Centre for Sport.

John Charles Centre for Sport has changing rooms, café and bar facilities with refreshments and Sky TV. Many other sporting activities including a bodyline fitness gym. Free parking
