We are often contacted by local sports clubs about what funding is available for things such as new, extended and refurbished facilities, playing pitches, kit and equipment, grounds maintenance equipment and general improvement work to their sports grounds.
In addition, clubs are regularly looking at ways of increasing junior and adult membership through coaching programmes and other associated costs that go with this.
You can find out about funding information from these sites

Some funders that are specific to Leeds including: Green Leeds, Caird Bardon and the Leeds Community Foundation.
Funding from these many grant providers can range from £100 - £100,000 upwards.
We also have 3 Club Development Officers who work across different areas of the city and can assist clubs in identifying the right type of funding for your project. They can also provide additional support for clubs in putting together a funding application and provide, where necessary, further information to support those bids, for example how the project meets local priorities in the community. Advice can also be given about rate relief and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASC).
Here is a quick guide they have compiled to help you find the right furnding for you.
