Housing PFI areas (Little London, Beeston Hill, and Holbeck) Christmas shutdown

Refurbishment work: teams are on holiday from Tuesday 23 December and will return to work Monday 5 January 2015.

Click to expandLibraries, One Stop Centres and Housing Offices

The following One Stop Centres and Libraries will close at 1pm Thursday 24th December and reopen on Tuesday 29th December. New Years Eve closing times will be 4pm:

Compton Centre, St Georges Centre, Armley, Dewsbury Road One Stop only, Yeadon, Reginald Centre, Otley. Where a Job Shop is collocated this will remain open same hours. City Centre One Stop will close at 4pm 24th December and reopen on Tuesday 29th December. New Years Eve closing time will be 4pm.

The following Libraries will close at 1pm Thursday 24th December and reopen Tuesday 29th December. New Years Eve closing time will be 4pm:

Ardsley and Tingley, Beeston, Bramley, Chapel Allerton, Crossgates, Dewsbury Road, Garforth, Guiseley, Headingley, Holt Park, Horsforth, Moor Allerton, Morley, Otley, Pudsey, Rothwell, Wetherby.

The following Libraries and One Stops will close 1pm 24th December and reopen Monday 4th January:

Libraries - Boston Spa, Burley, Calverley, Farsley, Gildersome, Halton, Hunslet (including Job Shop), Kippax, Methley, Oakwood, Scholes, Seacroft, Whinmoor.

One Stops – North Seacroft, South Seacroft, Osmondthorpe, Rothwell, Pudsey, Wetherby and Morley.​​​​​

The Contact centre is open 8am to 6pm as usual Monday to Friday. The out-of-hours service will operate as normal.

This is with the exception of the Council Tax and Benefits phone lines, which will be closed from 3pm 24 December until 8am 5 January.

On the 2 January the service will operate with a skeleton staff and is likely to deal with death registrations only. Emergency requests eg notices and certificate applications may also be dealt with according to staff availability.

Registrars will not be operating at any of the one stop centres during Christmas and New Year period. All business will be conducted at 2 Great George St.

The Interpretation and Translation Team will close Tuesday 24 December at 1pm and reopen Monday 4 January. Language Line will be available to cover any requests.​
