Paying your parking ticket

There are three ways that you can pay your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN), sometimes called a parking fine or ticket:

  • Online - see Top Tasks. You will need the ten digit number that appears on your PCN starting with LS and a valid credit or debit card (24 hour service).

  • By telephone - by credit or debit card on the 24 hour payment line 0113 395 7100.

  • By post -  Parking Services, PO BOX 139, Leeds LS9 1AA, quoting your parking ticket reference number. Cheques should be made payable to 'Leeds City Council'. Please do not send cash through the post.

The longer you wait before you pay the penalty charge, the more it will cost you. If you pay within 14 days of getting the ticket, the charge is reduced by a half to either £35.00 or £25.00.

If you haven't paid after 28 days, the charge will eventually increase to a maximum of £112.00. We may then take legal action against you which can involve using bailiffs to recover unpaid penalty charges and there will be further costs to pay.

If you have lost your parking ticket you will need to contact parking services via the Contact us section on this page to get your reference number.
