Belle Isle and Middleton Neighbourhood Framework

Leeds City Council's Executive Board approved the new Belle Isle and Middleton Neighbourhood Framework in September 2013.

Intended to make  Belle Isle and Middleton even better places to live and work, the framework will guide future proposals and support planning decisions.

The framework process has beeen celebrated as a successful collaboration between residents, community groups, businesses, the council's regeneration staff, their colleagues and local councillors. Partnership work has identified sites for new housing and other developments and improvements to open, shared and public places, spaces and routes that connect areas and services together, play areas and community facilities.

You can download the new Belle Isle and Middleton Neighbourhood Framework from this page.

Lots of people have contributed their ideas and views to the framework over a number of years, especially during roadshows in November 2012 and March 2013 (you can download that report too) .

Please get in touch if you would like to:  Mark Mills is the project manager – email mark.mills@leeds.gov.uk or phone 0113 24 76241.
