Our Leeds Pathways website is a free service providing careers information and advice on learning, training and employment for young people in Leeds. Young people use the website to research learning options and decide what they want to go to do after year 11. They can then make an online application to the school sixth form, college or training provider of their choice. Schools provide login details to students and support them through the application process.
We hold information on the full range of learning options: course, apprenticeships, work-based training, flexible learning, supported learning, and voluntary work. There is something to suit every young person, whatever his or her circumstances. For young people looking for employment, we offer advice on the local labour market, video clips of young people talking to local employers, links to job vacancies, and hints and tips about starting your own business.
For the pre-16 age group we have information on the quality-assured, alternative learning which may be available to Year 10 and 11 students outside of school.
Resources are also available for parents, carers, teachers and professionals who support young people.
