Searching for local services and support is easy with the Leeds Directory. Whether you are looking for some assistance around the home, a mobile hairdresser, an agency providing personal care or your local coffee morning - help is at hand.
The Leeds Directory lets you search for personal care and other services in your local area.
It offers a ratings system similar to websites like Amazon and eBay so you can see what other people think of a service before using it. All services listed for ‘in the home’ have to go through the ‘Green tick’ vetting process before appearing in the directory.
Along with domestic services, the directory includes a wide range of other services, including community centres, libraries, voluntary organisations, local courses and events and activities with more being added all the time.
The Leeds Directory is managed on behalf of the council by Care & Repair Leeds - an independent home improvement agency with charitable status.
If you do not have internet access you can still use the directory. You can call Care and Repair on the Directory Helpline 0113 391 8333 to request a paper copy of the listings in your area or ask your care manager to search for a service on your behalf.
