Fulfilling Lives Service

woman posting a vote into a ballot boxThe Learning Disability Community Support Service Fulfilling Lives Service supports over 800 people through the provision of a range of opportunities for customers to engage in healthy, safe and fulfilling daytime activities.  We support customers to have better lives through our own service and by working in partnership with more than 20 third sector provider organisations.

We provide services from 23 specialist buildings and bases co-located in sports and community centres across Leeds.  This enables us to maximise opportunities for social inclusion and deliver services to people in the heart of the localities where they live.  We also fund a wide range of community, voluntary and faith sector organisations to deliver activities in partnership with our service.

Just over half of the customers who attend our Fulfilling Lives Service live at home with family carers so the service also provides family carers with a break from their caring responsibilities.
