If we hold information about you to provide a service, you have a right to see that information under the Data Protection Act (this is called a 'subject access request').
Your request to see the information can be made using the Subject Access Request form in the downloads section.
The documents and web links on this page aim to help you to understand how to ask for your personal information. There is also a link to the Information Commissioner, who is there to help you to know your rights and what to do if you need help.
We take the importance of your personal information very seriously and it is held in confidence. Where it may be necessary (and often essential) to share your information, we will do so lawfully. An important code of practice in doing so is set out in the Leeds Inter-Agency Information Sharing Protocol which is available as a PDF download on this page. The 'Information Sharing leaflet' in the download section sets out how we look after your information.
