Housing strategy and strategic partnership

Leeds Housing Strategy

Our housing strategy sets out how we can support those in greatest housing need over the next five years.

Our housing vision is:

Effectively meeting affordable and social housing need, promoting independence and creating sustainable communities to make Leeds the best place to live.

We work in close partnership with organisations and customer groups to help us deliver the strategy.

Leeds Strategic Housing partnership

The focus of the partnership is based on the strategy, including:

  • affordable housing growth
  • improving housing quality
  • promoting independent living
  • creating sustainable communities
  • improving health through housing
  • meeting the needs of older residents
