Help and advice for young people

Young people can get information, advice and support from the Connexions Leeds service for a range of needs. The service’s personal advisers are able to help with career planning, getting into work, housing and family matters. For young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities the service is available up to the age of 25.

The main aim of the service is to make sure that all young people in Leeds are successful at moving on to further education, employment or training. This service is in addition to careers information, advice and guidance available to young people in schools, colleges, and at other learning providers.

There are lots of ways to get in touch, including by text, phone, email or online. Visit the Connexions Leeds home page on the Leeds Pathways website to find out how, when and where to get in contact.

The main centre where you can meet with advisers face-to-face is the Connexions Centre at No 1 Eastgate, Leeds LS2 7LY. For more contact details, opening times and locations of other centres, please see the Connexions Leeds home page.

For more general help and advice The Market Place is an independent, voluntary sector charity, offering confidential support, information and counselling service for young people aged 13 to 25 in Leeds. It can be found at 28 Kirkgate, Leeds, LS2 7DJ.
