SchoolWellbeing is a website aimed at staff in schools or settings who support the health and wellbeing of children and young people. The term 'wellbeing' spans a wide spectrum of themes including Healthy Schools, emotional health, targeted mental health (TaMHS), bullying, sustainable schools, participation, healthy eating, PSHE Education, SEAL, citizenship and more.
Within the site you will find a rich and ever growing library of resources, relevant for both curriculum and school leadership and management use in primary, secondary and special school settings. You can download lesson plans, schemes of work, policies, toolkits and downloadable training units to support school staff on their professional development pathway. Our web library pulls together some of the best websites to support your work and our news section will keep you up to date with what you need to know for each of our wellbeing themes.
The Leeds Healthy School and Wellbeing Service developed the SchoolWellbeing website for Leeds schools – it is in fact used by hundreds of schools both within and beyond Leeds.
Currently the website only allows full access to schools who have an SLA although certain pages are open to all.
