Community centres

Do you need a meeting room? Do you need a hall to put on an event or a party? Do you need a sports hall? Did you know you could hire some or all of these from us?

You may well be familiar with our various leisure centres and swimming pools but you may not be so familiar with facilities within our community centres.

Old Cockburn Sports Hall
We would like to invite expressions of interest from parties interested in taking a lease for Old Cockburn Sports Hall, Primrose Lane, Leeds LS11 5EW. Closing date 30 October 2015. For more information see the documents section on this page.

For instance, you could host a wedding reception at Allerton Bywater Welfare Hall or Morley Town Hall. You could put on shows or dances at Blackburn Hall or Calverley Mechanics Institute. You could book a conference at Yeadon Town Hall and hire the bar. You could play five-a-side indoor football at the Mandela Centre.

Large rooms (generally halls) cost £25 per hour for commercial use and £10 per hour for community use.

All other rooms cost £12.50 per hour cor commercial use and £5 per hour for community use. Kitchens (when used for food preparation) cost £5 per hour for commercial use and £1 per hour for community use.
