Activities for young people

Our promise to young people in Leeds is that they will have:

  • Something to do
  • Someone to talk to
  • Somewhere to go to
  • Something to say

Our youth workers run centres and youth hubs where young people can go to get involved in activities like sports, arts or IT clubs, or simply to talk to someone. Look at our Youth Service pages to find out more.

The Breeze website is a great place to look online if you want to find out what is happening for children and young people across the city. As well as fun activities, there are events, projects, ‘Breeze on Tour’, and lots of opportunity to get involved and  have your say.  We offer a Breeze card free to any young people between the ages of 0 and 18 (or 25 where a young person has additional needs).  This card gets you into Breeze events and offers you lots of discounts at places like leisure centres and restaurants.  It also doubles as a library card.  Visit the Breeze website to register for your card.

As a council, we also provide playgrounds and recreation areas for young people right across the city.
