We now have our own  Europe Direct Leeds website www.europedirectleeds.org.uk

Europe Direct Leeds is part of a network of 16 centres in the UK, 500 across Europe which aim to act as an interface between the EU and its citizens at local level.

We can help with general questions on every aspect of Europe and can put you in touch with relevant specialist services if required. We have leaflets, brochures and materials to take away about the European Union's activities and policies. We also organise events and activities to make the public aware of the EU.

New Language Exchange

We are happy to announce the Language Exchange for adults. Do you want to practise your language skills? Be more fluent in conversation? Learn about other cultures?

The Language Exchange aims to help adult language learners to practise their new language skills. This can be between two native speakers or as part of a group that brings together native speakers and learners.

To be part of the Language Exchange at Leeds Central Library you will have to register with Europe Direct who are based in the Information Centre on the second floor. Or drop into The Space on the ground floor of the Central Library on Tuesday 22 June anytime between 1pm and 3.30pm.

For more details, see the documents to the right (under "Downloads") or contact us at europedirect@leeds.gov.uk.
