FREE “Make Do and Mend” DesignQuest at Lotherton Hall for Art and Textile secondary school students

Do your students need experience of working to a real design brief and want the chance to hold their own exhibition?

Lotherton Hall is hosting DesignQuest in collaboration with The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts. Our theme this year will be “Make Do and Mend” –  students will design and make pieces of costume inspired by our 2013 exhibition “Country House in time of War”. The project is open to creative subjects from KS3 to KS5.

Involvement in the project includes;

A brief to produce a piece of costume and sketchbook
Teacher training day in London with Children & the Arts
A student research day at Lotherton Hall, handling historical costume and crafts
Artist led sessions in your school
£100 towards materials
DesignQuest exhibition preview for all participants and their family and friends at Lotherton Hall
