 Silver Centrepieces

Showstoppers: Silver Centrepieces
13 May – 15 Oct 2017
Temple Newsam House

Silver is a seductive, glamorous material and the centrepiece is one of its most wondrous uses.

Showstoppers will take two iconic centrepieces from our historic silver collection and present them alongside contemporary masterpieces by artists Junko Mori and Miriam Hanid.

The exhibition will showcase the continuation and reinvention of traditional silversmithing techniques and celebrate women in silver, as makers and owners.
