This workshop is led by museums staff.
We have a million objects in the store and we want you to use them! Got a strange, weird and wonderful request? A topic no-one else covers? We can try and help!
Phone to discuss how our objects can be used in evidence-based learning, object handling or primary research for your topic. Collections include dress and textiles, world cultures, archaeology, geology, social history and natural history, so we can help with cross-curricular topic work.
All workshops at the Discovery Centre include a tour of our museum store where we house the million objects looked after by Leeds Museums and Galleries.
“The best bit about today was looking at all the strange and interesting things and being in a room with a million objects in.” KS2 student
These workshops can also be run as outreach in school, ask us for details.
