Site: Leeds Art Gallery
Key stages:

Subject areas:
Art, Cross Curricular
This workshop is led by museums staff.
What's involved?
Artworks and gallery visits can inspire creativity and imagination for art and cross-curricula work within History, English or PSHE amongst others. To support and enhance school based activity we offer a programme of workshops for you to choose from, an Art Team of exciting artists with a range of skills, a Studio with materials and a Learners Pack for ideas and self-directed visits.
For help with your planning and follow-up work, come to our special INSET session the second Wednesday of every month 4.00 - 6.00pm. The first hour is an opportunity to discuss risk assessment, Studio use and workshop content. The second will use a different theme from our Learners Packs each month for creative hands-on exploration to show how self-led visits can be extended in the Studio or back in school.
We will introduce you to our building, its collections and specific exhibitions and our learning resources. On request we can match your chose theme to specific artworks or a member of our Art Team.
