This workshop considers chronology through time with a human timeline that has twelve historical periods from Stone Age to Second World War. Pupils will help to make a human timeline showing twelve characters from history - they will firstly put three sections of the timeline in order.
The stories of some of the characters will be expanded upon, such as Queen of the Brigantes Cartimandua and Leeds Suffragette Leonora Cohen. Many of the character have a Leeds or Yorkshire connection.
This is a 45 minute workshop. All led workshops will be delivered by a Learning and Access Officer or a Learning Facilitator in the Learning Space or one of the galleries. If you are late for your led workshop we cannot guarantee we will be able to fit all of the workshop in. The Learning Facilitator will decide which sections to omit.
