History, Science, Literacy
This workshop is led by museums staff.
Be a time traveller in this imaginative session investigating how the past is constructed from a range of sources! Discover artefacts, inventories, letters, replica objects and clues in the building structure from Tudor times and compare them with later periods. Learn how to weigh evidence and make connections, contrasts and trends by having a go at recreating a room in the house through drama and storytelling. Includes a ‘living timeline’ with your class taking on characters covering over 500 years of Temple Newsam’s history.
