Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills

​Leeds Wool Festival 2018 is on Saturday 2nd June from 10am to 5pm.

Applications for stall holders for the market area are now open.

This year the last date for applications is the 31st of October. We will inform you if you have a stall by no later than the 1st of December. Each stall costs £30 and must be paid for in advance by the 8th of January 2018.

Demonstration area

As well as a market, food, films, music and animals we have a demonstration area each year. If you or a group that you belong to might be interested in demonstrating your wool related skills please get in touch, using the contact information above, we are always looking for new people to get involved.

​We are encouraging people to use public transport to get the Wool Festival.

Buses:

Numbers 15 and 60A run from outside Leeds Railway Station, and stop at Canal Road, next to the mumbers 15 and 60A run from outside Leeds Railway Station, and stop at Canal Road, next to the museum car park.

Numbers 33, 33A, 508, 670, 757 and 760 run from Central Leeds and stop at Kirkstall Road Cardigan Fields. It is then a short walk through the leisure complex, over the footbridge next to Frankie and Benny’s Restaurant and through the grounds of the Museum.

The Leeds-Liverpool Canal Walk:
It is also a lovely walk along the Leeds Liverpool Canal, from Central Leeds to the Museum. This can take up to an hour.

Parking:
There will be limited parking available at the museum and in the overflow car park opposite the museum car park. It is also possible to park in Cardigan Fields Leisure Complex car park and walk across the footbridge to Armley Mills.

Accessibility:
There will also be a number of disabled parking spaces available in the museum car park. It is possible to drop off passengers outside the entrance.
