Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills

Housed in what was once the world’s largest woollen mill, Leeds Industrial Museum tells the story of Leeds industrial heritage. See the machines that were powered by the mill’s impressive waterwheel, discover how workers used the looms and spinning mules to turn wool into cloth, learn about tailoring techniques and find out about film alongside one of the world’s smallest 1920s cinemas.

Leeds Industrial Museum is located just two miles out of the city centre on Canal Road off the main A65 road to Kirkstall.
