Flooding recovery

Most areas of the museum have reopened since the 2015 flooding, but the Locomotive Gallery remains closed.

Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills

Housed inside Armley Mills, once the world’s largest woollen mill, Leeds Industrial Museum reveals the city's industrial heritage. See machines powered by a waterwheel, discover how wool is made into cloth, learn about tailoring and watch a film in our 1920s cinemas.

Leeds Industrial Museum is located just two miles out of the city centre on Canal Road off the main A65 road to Kirkstall.
