 For All Seasons

For All Seasons

Leeds City Museum:
10 February – 28 August 2017

Whatever the weather, come and explore how the world around us changes with the seasons. From the first spring flowers to the cold chill of winter, join us as we take a journey through the year.

Do you know what clothes you need to pack to keep you cool on a summer holiday? Can you find enough food to store away for the long winter months? Come and try for yourself in our new exhibition. With lots of hands-on activities there’s plenty for all the family.

From atmospheric paintings of autumn woods to beautifully decorated Easter eggs, this fun exhibition showcases a wide range of our collection. Explore how the seasons have been represented in art and culture, how we’ve dressed for the weather and how the natural world responds to the changing seasons.

Inspired by the exhibition? There’s plenty more ways to carry on exploring the seasons through our events programme below.
