Research projects:
- With Royal Pavilion and Art Gallery, Brighton, Chinese Whispers exhibition (2008): curating the silver section plus a scholarly contribution to catalogue.
- With Goldsmiths Hall, London, Treasures of the English Church (2008): advising on 17th and 18th century loans and scholarly contribution to catalogue
- With Getty Museum, California and Henry Moore Institute, Taking Shape exhibition (2008 – 9): adviser and scholarly contribution to catalogue
- With Historic Royal Palaces and V&A, Country House Beds and Bedding project. Research by curators with view to restoration of Hinton House bed and an exhibition in 2011.
- Cataloguing and researching the Ginsburg collections of textiles at Temple Newsam
- The Gascoigne family of Lotherton Hall, its history, houses and collections.
- Continued research in order to reconstruct and restore of our historic houses
- The history of western dress from the 1700s up to the present day. Covering the fashions and every day dress worn by women, men and children and the techniques and textiles used to create them.
- Conservation of paintings, furniture, metalwork, archaeological material and textiles.
- African art and crafts, particularly masquerade, historical research into the Ghana collection on loan from the Prince of Wales own Regiment of Yorkshire.
- A study of an excavation carried out in the 1960s on an Iron Age domestic site called Umm al-Biyara which overlooks Petra in Jordan
- Investigating the size change in domesticated livestock within and between the Late Iron Age and Roman periods. Researchers will be analysing the faunal assemblage from the Dalton Parlours archive.
- Analysis of Anglo-Saxon and Anglo-Scandinavian carved stone from 7th – 11th centuries for the Corpus of Anglo-Saxon stone in West Yorkshire
- Analysis of Iron Age and Roman querns for the Corpus of beehive querns in West Yorkshire
- A PhD project jointly hosted with Leeds University studying the early history of the natural science collections in Leeds.
- Exceptional fossil faunas and floras in siderite nodules from the West Yorkshire Coal Measures.
