We offer hundreds of computer learning sessions every month in Leeds Libraries.
What sessions are available?
The full list of sessions is set out in the Learn in the Library booklet available to download from this page on the right.
We can show you how to:
• Use a mouse and keyboard
• Search the internet
• Sign-up for an e-mail account.
Once you've mastered the basics we have more advanced sessions to show you some of the other things you can do online:
• Explore your family history
• Search and apply for a job
• Search for your friends on Facebook.
The mouse symbols and mini-guides in the booklet will help you choose the right session for you. But if you’re still not sure talk to the library staff who will be happy to help you choose the right one.
When are the sessions?
All of our sessions are arranged in response to requests from the public.
Just contact your local library and staff will ask you some questions about what you want to learn and where you would like your session. You will also be asked to provide a telephone number or email address. A librarian will look at all of the requests for each library and will contact you to agree a date, time and venue for your session.
