City Ambassadors

Our fantastic City Ambassadors will be on hand to meet and greet you and explain the best possible way to get to the arena from the railway station, bus station, and Woodhouse Lane car park. The arena has its own dedicated taxi rank to the right of the main plaza and the City Ambassadors can direct you to this. They will also be able to advise you about the location of other taxi ranks in the city for when you're planning your journey home.

Parking

There are plenty of car parking spaces across the city. With two dedicated first direct arena car parks, Woodhouse Lane car park and Merrion Centre car park. There are a total of 2,880 car park spaces within a 5 minute walk and a further 4,841 spaces within a 15 minutes walk.

Public Transport

If you're travelling by public transport use West Yorkshire Metro's website to find out when your last bus or train leaves. A link can be found in the External links section on this page.

If you're walking to the arena from Leeds train station, you can find a planned route here.

We want everyone to have a great experience visiting the first direct arena so please be careful of your own and your passengers safety when dropping off or picking up event-goers.  We recommend that the best places to do this safely are on Woodhouse Lane outside Morrisons supermarket, on Cookridge Street in the Civic Quarter or on Cross Belgrave Street just 5 minutes walk from the venue.

Please do not attempt to drop off passengers in front of the arena on Claypit Lane as there is no stopping on this road and enforcement will be in the area to ensure road safety.

If you have any queries about the first direct arena please use their website to find the information you need. A link can be found in the External links section on this page.

Look for other things to do to make the most of your visit. Take in one of the finest shopping areas in the north, eat in the best restaurants, cool down in one of the many bars and cafes, and check out the wide range of cultural activities on offer.
