Search the catalogue
- The Library Catalogue shows the stock we have available in all Leeds libraries..
It's easy to do a simple search, try type an author, title, subject or ISBN into the search box and click the blue search button.
For more advanced searches click on the more search options text underneath the box, this allows you to limit your search by location, year published and other options.
- From the library catalogue home page, you can also link to the FREE eBooks and eAudio download site, you can also log in to your account to renew and reserve books and link to the page showing library charges (e.g. how much it will cost to reserve a book).
Click on the ‘help’ button at the top of the Library catalogue page and it brings up lots of hints and tips to help with searching.

The library catalogue shows the stock we have available in all our branch libraries across Leeds, this includes stock available in each of the specialist departments at the central library including books, CD's, learning materials, music scores etc.
How do I search the library catalogue?
For a simple search, type the author, title, subject that you are interested in or the ISBN.
For more advanced searches click on the 'more search options' text underneath the box, this gives more search options including location and year published.
How do I reserve an item and where do I collect it from?
Use the library catalogue to search for the item you want and click the'reserve this item' button. You will be able to choose which library you would prefer to collect the item from and will be notified when the item has arrived at your chosen library, when you collect your item you can pay the reservation charge if applicable.
