Nature's playground

Ranger-led sessions for playschemes, clubs and out of school groups are available on all parks and countryside sites although nature reserves like Otley Chevin, Meanwood Park, Billy Woods (in Kippax) and Middleton Woods tend to be the most popular.

Popular activities include bushcraft, bug hunting, pond dipping, seed gathering, gardening and nature conservation and just generally exploring!

Sessions can be tailored to suit the age, needs and abilities of your group but a good time is guaranteed!

Sessions cost £1.50 per child for up to 3 hours (half day). Full day sessions (up to 6 hours) cost £2 per child.  A minimum of 12 children are required to attend a session.

For more information, download the attached leaflet entitled ‘Nature’s playground’ or call the Rangers on 0113 3367548.
