Bus Stops
The nearest public transport is approximately 200 metres from the building

Disabled Parking
There is a very large public car park with several marked disabled bays, some of which are directly outside the building, although these are not dedicated for customers
The car park area and entrance to the building is concrete and paving slabs and level
The area is well maintained and even

Entrances
There are automatic doors into the building which is all on one level

Lifts
There is no lift as once in the building it is on one level
There are a small number of steps to access the meeting room but level access to the meeting room can be gained from the rear of the building

Assistive Technology
A range of assistive technology hardware and software is available for use on the public computers

Accessible Toilets
There are two accessible toilets, one in the main building and one in the meeting facility

Support Dogs
All support dogs are welcome

There is an Induction loop available.

Click to expandBike Library: Borrow a bike for free

This site operates a Bike Library Service. The Bike Library allows you to borrow a bike for free over an agreed period. All you need to do is sign up as a library member (if you aren’t already) and have a short induction. There are adult and children’s bikes available both male and female. You can reserve and collect a bike/s onsite by asking a member of staff, or book in advance online.

Our new Bike Library scheme has an ambition to give every child in our city access to a bike. The scheme (alongside others such as the Cycle Superhighway, and the Tour De Yorkshire) is part of the City’s cycle legacy post Tour de France.​
