Meanwood Park

No media found.

Meanwood Park, which incorporates the Meanwood Valley trail and joins the Meanwood Valley Nature Reserve, is one of Leeds' best loved open spaces.

Facilities include a fantastic children’s playground, tennis courts, bowling green, picnic areas, basketball court, car park and footpaths.  The landscape, which is rich with the remnants of the industrial heritage of the area includes woodland, meadows, a stream and areas of mown grass.

A footpath surrounds the park which is accessible to all and suitable for the majority of manual and electric wheelchairs.

Meanwood Park is 4 miles north of Leeds city centre and is approximately 29 hectares in area.
