Leeds in Bloom design a poster competition

We’d like teachers, group leaders, parents and grandparents to rally their youngsters, encouraging them to explore their creative side and design a prize-winning poster. The poster will celebrate the city of Leeds entry to the Royal Horticultural Society's Britain In Bloom Competition.

Britain In Bloom and Yorkshire In Bloom aim to encourage and develop community spirit and civic pride.

Leeds in Bloom promotes greater local involvement and interest in horticulture making our outdoor world a vibrant and attractive place to share and enjoy.

This years theme is “Wild about Leeds, Wild about Flowers." Flowers provide food for vital insect species under threat. They provide colour and can enhance the city environment.

You’ll help heighten youngster’s awareness of their outdoor environment, engage their imagination and use their talents in a creative, positive campaign. Maybe they’ll even win one of the fantastic prizes for winners and their schools!

  • Everyone wins
  • Just think of the benefits!

Prizes for the best three designs will be presented at a special Awards Ceremony. The winning designs will be produced as posters for display in businesses and public buildings throughout Leeds.
