In association with Hermes and Evans property group this competition celebrates the parks, gardens and green spaces of Leeds.
Each year we select 12 winning photographs for the Leeds in Bloom calendar. Each winner receives £100 in prize money. Winners in the 'young snappers' category (ages 4 - 16) can also win horticultural gift vouchers for their school.
Entries should capture what “in bloom” means to you. All we ask is that the photograph is taken in a Leeds City Council owned park, nature reserve, green space or waterway. The photograph’s subject is completely up to you bearing in mind we require 12 seasonal scenes. It could be anything from a sports activity to wildlife, woodlands a picnic or cultivated flowers.
Whenever you’re out and about look around, take out your camera or phone to capture the prize winning shots.
