Parking: The library has parking

There is a library parking bay to the rear of the building but the surfaces and route to the front entrance is very bumpy, uneven and with potholes.  There is limited on street parking, or a supermarket car park on the opposite site of the road with numerous accessible parking bays.   Access is dependent on where the vehicle is parked.  The surface is mainly concrete and paving slabs with curbs.  Some of the paving slabs are uneven.  There is the possibility of crossing a busy road via a pelican crossing.  The nearest bus stop is directly outside the library door.  There is also a train station approximately 400m away.  The library is accessed via several steps or a ramp then it is all on one level through a set of automatic doors.  There is no public accessible toilet but there are accessible toilets in the supermarket on the opposite side of the road.  Large keyboard and mouse, Boardmaker and adjustable desk are available.  There are low level areas and an Induction loop is installed on the counter.
