There are plenty of opportunities to support the work of the Parks and Countryside service and keep Leeds green and blooming!
- Leeds In Bloom: We have about 50 In Bloom groups working around the city to beautify their local areas with floral displays.
- Volunteer: Hundreds of people volunteer every year on the parks and green spaces of Leeds, many of them are members of 'Friends of' groups. Their work ranges from planting trees to organising community events in parks.
- Sponsorship: Corporate sponsors support the parks and countryside service by sponsoring individual parks, roundabouts and even events on parks such as bonfires.
- Leeds Parks and Green Spaces Forum: This newly-formed group aims to protect, preserve and improve the parks and green spaces of Leeds. It is made up of organisations and individuals who care about the green spaces of the city and new members are always welcome.
