Parks and Countryside sites host hundreds of events every year, these include:
- Community galas and festivals that are often organised by local volunteers
- Bonfires
- Popular and classical music concerts like ‘Party in the Park’ and ‘Opera in the Park’
- Cultural events such as the Leeds Caribbean carnival and Reggae concert in Potternewton Park and the Asian
- Mela in Roundhay Park.
- Fun fairs and circuses.
All these events are facilitated by Parks and Countryside’s Bookings and Licensing team, who work closely with community groups and event organisers to bring a diverse range of new fun and exciting events to parks.
If you would like to book a site for an event, you will need to contact the Bookings and Licensing team no later than 8 weeks before the event takes place. If the site is available on the day you have requested, you will then be expected to fill out the details in the application form attached below. All documentation listed in the application form is required before the booking will be confirmed.
