The Snow Slide

Get ready for an amazing fun filled ride down a 40m long dry slope slide. Venture to the top of the slide (6m high), seat yourself in a large rubber ring and feel the ultimate rush as you zoom back to ground level!

How it works

• To ride the snow slide individually, persons must be above 1.1m in height
• Persons may descend with younger children (not recommended for children under 2 years) safely at the parent / guardian's discretion, ensuring the parent / guardian is sitting securely in the snow tube with the younger child is sitting firmly within their lap
• All tickets must be purchased in advance or from the onsite Event Ticket Office upon arrival (see below) before joining the queue
• Ticket holders will need to queue at the ride before carrying their own 'snow tube' up to the top of the slide
• As directed by staff, participants should position the 'snow tube' at the edge of the top of the slope so that it is easy to start the descent
• Before beginning their descent, participants should sit securely in the 'snow tube', ensuring that their hands and the towing strap and handle are kept in the tube at all times
• A maximum of two people can descend at any one time
• As soon as the first wave of 'snow tubers' has gone, the next ones should be getting into position as directed by staff
• Once a slide is completed, the snow tube is handed to the next person in the queue
• If the person(s) who has just completed a slide is a multiple ticket holder, they will then need to join the back of the ticket holder queue to ensure the queue keeps moving along and allows everyone to participate without excessive waiting
• Please follow the directions of staff at all times and participants are requested to be patient during busy times of operation
• Extreme caution is advised at all times and please note participation is entirely at your own risk.
• The slide management company and/or Leeds City Council will not accept any liability for injuries obtained whilst at the snow slide

Opening Times:
The Capital Radio Snow Slide will be open (subject to extreme weather conditions):

11:30am* – 8:30pm Monday – Wednesday
11:30am* – 9:30pm Thursday & Friday
9:30am – 9:30pm Saturdays
9:30am – 7:00pm Sundays

* open from 9.30am during Leeds School holidays (Friday 10 to Monday 20 February inclusive)

Tickets:
£2 per ride or £5 for 3 rides
£1.50 per ride for LEEDSCard* / BreezeCard* holders or £4 for 3 rides

*Valid ID Card / proof of status required

Tickets can be used at anytime during opening times (see above) between Friday 27 January to Sunday 26 February inclusive.

Payment
All major credit and debit cards are accepted online and over the telephone. Cash or cards are accepted at the Event Ticket Office. Please note that we do not accept Diners Club or American Express cards.

Postage / Collection
Tickets purchased via online or telephone can be posted to you for a small charge (£1.25). Once received please check your tickets to make sure you have the correct quantity. If for any of these reasons the tickets are not what you were expecting, please contact Quay Tickets as soon as possible on 0843 208 1841 quoting your reference number.

Reserved tickets can also be collected from the Event Ticket Office (details as above), however please note queuing may be necessary at busy times. Please bring the credit or debit card used for the booking and the Quay Tickets reference number.

Terms and Conditions
- If a valid ID card or proof of status is required for your ticket, this must be shown when requested
- All tickets are strictly on a first come, first served basis and subject to availability at the time of purchase
- All tickets are non refundable
- All children aged 8-12 years must be accompanied at all times at the Ice Cube by a parent or guardian (18 yrs or over)
- The purchase/holding of an Snow Slide ticket signifies an agreement and acceptance by all visitors to adhere to the snow slide operating procedures (see ‘How it Works’ section above) and any other statements/ directives which are clearly stated within the venue
