CLARK SPRINGS

Description : This is a relatively long, yet narrow ribbon of mature Semi-natural Woodland, occupying the banks of a small stream within a new housing development. Recent features include a children's play area, new blocks of mixed broadleaved woodland planting and a surfaced footpath. This wooded footpath extends beyond the wood to link other parts of the housing estate by creating a small Green Corridor lined with trees and grassy open space.

Access and facilities : There is a maintained, permissive footpath running through the length of the wood, creating a link with adjacent public open spaces and housing. A small children's playground is located on the periphery of the wood.
