Description : This woodland in Horsforth has joint ownership between Leeds City Council and private parties. A public footpath runs from Brownberrie Lane and from Bayton Lane for walkers.

The predominant tree species within the woodland include oak, lime, scots pine, sycamore and beech. In previous years, the wood has been selectively thinned in line with accepted management practices to encourage natural regeneration of tree species that are already established on and well suited to the site.

Access and facilities : A public footpath is accessible from Brownberrie Lane and Bayton Lane.
