What happens with your complaint

We will send you a letter to acknowledge your complaint. We do not visit every food business after receiving a complaint. We will evaluate the risk and decide on what to do next. We will usually address the problems you reported at the next scheduled food hygiene inspection for that business.

We inform all businesses who have been reported but we will never give your details to the business. We may need to share your details and report with other organisations such as Trading Standards.

Use this form to give us your comments. Do not use it to give us personal information - please contact us if you need to get in touch.
