Leeds Museum Discovery Centre is the city's publicly accessible state-of-the-art store which cares for more than a million museum objects owned by Leeds.
The Discovery Centre gives you a behind the scenes look at over a million treasures. These include curiosities ranging from tiny bugs and butterflies to a full-sized Yak, from Roman pots to canoes, from jigsaws to washing machines, clothes, shoes, paintings and sculptures.
Everyone is encouraged to book an appointment to visit the centre discover the treasures for themselves. There are tours, workshops, activities and events for everyone.
