What to do in an Emergency

If there is a risk to life, always contact the emergency services by dialing 999.

Stay on the line as the operator will need to gather key information from you on what the emergency is, who is affected, and where the incident is taking place.

In an emergency, Leeds City Council can be contacted 24/7 on 0113 376 0499

Go inside a safe building, stay there until you are advised that it is safe, and tune in to local radio and TV stations for advice and emergency messages.
