Polling card

You do not need a polling card to vote, just go to your polling station and tell the polling clerks your name and address.

Although you do not need a polling card to vote, having it with you may speed the process. If your polling card has been lost or damaged you can still vote at your polling station.

Posting of polling cards

When your polling card is posted will be determined by when you registered to vote.

If you haven't received your polling card

You do not need a polling card to vote as long as you are registered at the correct address, although having it with you may speed the process. If you are registered to vote in person, you can still vote at your designated polling station.

If your name has been misspelt

If your name has been misspelt on your polling card you can still vote but you might want to re-register to correct the error. Go to the national registration site to do so.

If your polling card has been lost or damaged

If your polling card has been lost or damaged and you are registered to vote in person, you can still vote at your designated polling station.

If you are registered for a postal vote, visit our postal vote webpage to check when you will receive your postal ballot pack.
