Guiseley consultation

As a result of community concerns about the amount of new housing developments taking place in Guiseley and levels of congestion on the A65, planning officers were invited to give a presentation to the local community at the Guiseley and Rawdon Forum on 16th May 2007.

Due to a high level of public interest, 'drop in' surgeries were organised in June 2007 to enable local residents to discuss with planning and highway officers the issues and concerns they had for the Guiseley area.  The events were well attended and 336 written comments were received.

The Guiseley Consultation Report sets out the main issues raised by the local community during the consultation event and the Council's Planning and Highway Officers' response.

The following documents are available as Downloads

 - Summary of Guiseley Consultation Report

The issues raised in the consultation process will be addressed through continued discussion between ward members, council officers and the local community.
