The triennial Leeds Conductors’ Competition, organised by Leeds City Council, is one of only a few of its kind in the UK and exists to support young British conductors at the start of their careers.

As well as a significant cash prize, a string of professional engagements with the country’s finest orchestras awaits the winner.
