Reminiscence Sessions - Third Thursday of Every Month (9:30am)

Bring in your old photographs of Leeds and have the Leeds Floor Gallery to yourselves for 30 minutes.  Meet back in our cafe to share and discuss your stories of Leeds past, present and future.

Come and discover all about ancient Egypt exploring our special exhibition 'Pharaoh' and the rest of the museum.  Pick up your free copy of the trail from reception.

Lively debate with local experts to discuss topical science subjects over cakes and tea (please purchase from cafe) - suitable for ages 8 to 108

Free craft activities for all the family, come along and help us celebrate our current special exhibiion 'Pharaoh'.

Zachariah Croakitt and Mr Joseph - Thurs, 16th Feb (5:30pm to 6:30pm)

Come and meet one of our Victorian characters - either the ghoulish undertaker Zachariah Croakitt or Mr Joseph, the jeweller.  Mr Croakitt may not be suitable for young children or those of a sensitive disposition.

A series of 20-minute talks on the classical world in modern culture by experts from the Department of Classics at the University of Leeds.

Today's talk is by Malcolm Heath on 'On the Origin of Eels: Ancient and Modern Biology'.

Grrreat opportunity to have fun creating your own historical mess.  Use paints, stencil, crayons and glue!  Please wear suitable messy clothing.  For the under 5's and their carers.

Come along and have a go at making your own hat, you can make yourself look like a Pharaoh or design your own Easter bonnet.

Decorate your egg with us or bring one from home, then take part in a traditional egg roll!  Please note this event uses real eggs!
