Monday 2 – Sunday 8 May is Deaf Awareness Week. Please take five minute to view our Deaf Awareness Week Presentation (PPTX 3.4MB) to check that you are doing everything possible to ensure that deaf colleagues are included in all your conversations. Really helpful reminder of simple things that hearing people sometimes forget!
Please see our Branding Guide (PDF 3.6MB) to the child friendly Leeds branding and how it can be used.
We have a selection of films publicly available to spread the word about child friendly Leeds, including the ‘Play Your Part’ animated film and poem made with Leeds children and young people.
We also have a limited number of other ‘display’ and table resources that can be used at events, in office receptions and in other places to show support for child friendly Leeds. Pop-ups are lent free of charge and we are happy to share flags and badges. There is a small recharge to cover the cost of the child friendly thumb document folders. Please contact us to borrow any of our resources.
Child friendly Leeds hosts quarterly themed events for their ambassadors. In this area you will find PowerPoint presentations that have been shared at these events. If you require further information about the presentations and their author, please contact us.
