Leeds is showing support for people affected by the crisis in Ukraine, providing accommodation and other forms of assistance to Ukrainian refugees as they build new lives here.
We're continuing our proud track record of helping those in need in recent years, including refugees from Syria, Afghanistan and many other parts of the world.
How you can help
Offer your home
You can offer your home to host a Ukrainian refugee. Find guidance on how to offer your home and register your interest on GOV.UK.
If you’re interested in becoming a host, visit our hosting page for further details.
If you're new to Leeds
When arriving in Leeds you should visit the Homes for Ukraine Team (HfU) at the Reginald Centre in Chapeltown.
You can also email us at homesforukraine@leeds.gov.uk.
We will welcome you to Leeds and provide useful information on schools, benefits, housing and more.
You can also visit your local community hubs near to where you live.

Employment and English
Ukrainian refugees on the visa schemes are able to apply for work and English courses. Our Job Shop service can help with applying for jobs, amending your CV and more.
